February 28, 2019. We present AGROgestor in the Water and Nutrients Day of the HERMANA project
Ana Pilar Armesto of the public society INTIA, participated on February 28, 2019, in Albacete in the conference on water and nutrients in which presented the progress and results obtained in the project HERMANA (Tools for the sustainable management of nitrogen fertilization and of the water)
During the day, the AGROgestor Platform, a platform for the digitalization of agriculture, was presented in the section on practical implementation in the field and use of digital tools.
The HERMANA project aims to implement a diagnostic tool that allows to know the demands of water and nitrogen fertilization of crops and their variability in space and time, and thus be able to better adjust the supply of these inputs to these demands to achieve an optimization of the yield and an improvement in the sustainability of the agrarian ecosystems, by increasing the efficiency in the use of fertilizers and water.
At the base of these advances are the works carried out jointly by the groups participating in the project, UCLM, ITAP and AgriSat.
