November 14, 2019. Training day organized by the Mas Badia Foundation on the Agroasesor platform for farmers of the demonstrative pilot program at the Agricultural Cooperative of Torelló.

During November 14, 2019, Fundació Mas Badia organized a presentation and training day for the Agroasesor platform at the Cooperativa Agraria de Torelló, attended by more than 20 farmers from the pilot program, as well as other interested farmers, technical staff of the cooperative and expert technicians.
The day began with an explanation by Marc Jabardo of the Fundació Mas Badia of the AGROasesor platform and its main features, focusing on the management of actions and inventories. He also presented to the attendees the characteristics that the future mobile phytosanitary app will have.
Then Joan Parera of the Department of Agriculture, Ramaderia, Pesca i Alimentació (DARP), presented the new decree 153/2019 that updates the regulations on crop fertilization management, and especially livestock dejections in the agricultural field and that is Of special interest in the area where the pilot program is located.
The agricultural cooperative of Torelló is the collective manager of the environmental pilot in areas with use of organic waste.
The LIFE AGROgestor platform will be validated in 3 environmental pilots of collective management during the years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The pilots have been chosen to respond to each of the environmental problems object of the project: Water scarcity, nitrate contamination, and the problem of organic fertilizers.
MAS BADIA, in Catalonia, takes over the environmental demonstration pilot in areas with organic waste. ITAP, in Albacete, is responsible for the demonstration pilot in basins with overexploitation. And INTIA, in Navarra, is in charge of the demonstration pilot in nitrate vulnerable areas.
