October 21, 2019. Launching and training day of the AGROgestor platform for the new Andalusian replicator pilot

The LIFE AGROgestor project launches a new replicator pilot in Andalusia that will be tutored by IFAPA.

On October 21, the launching and training day of the AGROgestor platform replicator pilot in Andalusia was held in Carmona (Seville), a replicating project of the AGROgestor Platform that is part of the national platform transfer in the 5 Autonomous Communities of the project partners.

The day, directed by Elisabet Carpintero and Maria Pat González of IFAPA, has been attended by technicians from SERFICA, a company located in Carmona dedicated to Precision Agriculture, Planting, Collection and Application of solutions for the field in charge of validating the Agroasesor platform . SERFICA technicians will be in charge of entering the data and tracking traceability in the plots of the pilot area of Andalusia. The day has focused on training on the use of the Agroasesor platform, management of actions and inventories, as well as the use of remote sensing, nitrogen, varieties and control HADs. Since some of them had already used the platform before, special emphasis has been placed on the new functionalities implemented in agro-advisor. We have also talked about the monitoring and management of the pilot, with the aim of selecting the test plots and programming the soil analyzes and measurements to be carried out throughout the campaign. IFAPA will be the tutor of this replication pilot.

It is expected that the replication of the project will be carried out at the national level in which several replicas will be launched in 9 Spanish Autonomous Communities, 5 of them are those of the project partners and the other 4 Autonomous Communities will have the support of the Advisory Entities that have transmitted their support to the project and their willingness to replicate the solution, such as ITACYL (in Castilla y León), CITA (in Aragón), IMIDRA (Madrid) and CTAEX (in Extremadura).

The CR Hortifuenla (Fuenlabrada) pilot program, which will be coordinated by IMIDRA and whose tutor is ITAP, has already started in May. And in August the pilot program was launched in the Agrarium (Monzón) farm, coordinated by the CITA and whose tutor is INTIA. And in the same month of October, the replicator pilot of Castilla y León has begun, coordinated by ITACYL and tutored by NEIKER.

At European level it is intended to identify tools and services that can take advantage of the methodologies developed in this project, through the management of workshops or workshops.
