On December 9, INTIA organized the first training and awareness-raising day for AGROgestor, a platform that is already operational in its first version. 25 people from the nine Autonomous Communities that are part of the pilot projects in Navarra, Aragon, the Basque Country, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Albacete, Madrid, Andalusia and Extremadura participated in the event.

Ana Pilar Armesto, from the INTIA R&D team, presented the functionalities of the AGROgestor (first version already operational) and AGROasesor (version 4.0) platforms. She did so through several practical exercises in which she explained how to conduct an environmental program analysis.

Among the functionalities offered by this first version of AGROgestor are the following:

– Creation and selection of collective management areas.

– Continuous evaluation of a campaign using 31 indicators.

– Economic, environmental, sustainability indicators, grouped by collective management areas and by agricultural parcels.

– Creation of strategy Itineraries.

– Simulation of Environmental Programs and evaluation of strategy itineraries.

– Reassessment of the proposed strategies.

Armesto also presented to the group of attendees the environmental awareness materials -manuals of good practices- that have been carried out for each of the environmental pilot projects with which it has worked during these years. This action to raise environmental awareness is another of the key actions in which the European project LIFE AGROgestor works.

– Manual of Good Practices: Areas at risk of overexploitation of aquifers

– Good Practices Manual: Livestock manure

– Good Practice Manual: Zones vulnerable to nitrates
